                   .."a
fun ride that simply made us smile every time - and you can't
ask much more of a bike than that".
"...laced together with tidy tig welds, then wrapped
in quite the loveliest paint job we've seen this year".
"...a balanced bike with plenty of poise, that hides
a cheeky side; it really is a whole load of fun to ride...we
wonder why more stock bikes aren't made this way". Jenn

review from WHAT MOUNTAIN BIKE NOV. 2009
                  This is
a true, purpose designed, female fit XC mountain bike frame.
As with our new female/junior fit KR-210L road frame, it has
been designed from the ground up to work for female riders
and is not simply a ‘scaled down’ standard MTB
frame. See example of built bike here.
                   A smaller,
lighter rider does not require the same tubing as the average
male racer. The KM-220L uses lighter and smaller dia. chain
and seat stays, hourglass shaped for comfort and clearance
and a thin wall, large dia. down tube for torsional stiffness.

                  The frame
is light and responsive and smooths out the ride for lower
                    weight riders.
A shorter top tube is important for comfortable reach from
seat to bars, as is a smaller frame height for more standover
                    clearance.

                   Sizes:

The KM-220L has four sizes from 35 to 48cm and virtual top
tubes of 52 to 57cm, it also has short head tubes to minimise
                    standover and stack height.
                  Builds:
Race Face finishing kit and Shimano MT15 wheels, Rockshox
Recon for Deore build and Marzocchi Corsa SL LR fork for SLX
                    and XT builds. |
